CS400 visit to Project54

Project54 would like to thank the Computer Science CS400 students for visiting our lab for a demonstration this week. Project54 is a group under the Electrical and Computer Engineering department and the visit presented an opportunity for Mark Taipan of Project54 to discuss with CS students the role that electrical and computer engineering plays in the development of Project54 technology. Mark highlighted the fact that as a computer engineer himself, he has also had to learn and apply computer science concepts to the work he performs on the project and that the project has benefited from work done by students majoring in electrical engineering, computer engineering and computer science. Zeljko demonstrated the simulator and eyetracker and talked about research that is performed by the project. Both groups of students had some great questions and we enjoyed their visit to our lab. Thank you, Mark and Zeljko, for providing a great demonstration.
