As I blogged about in these two posts located here and here, Project54 staff members had a presence at the IACP 2010 trade show in 54ward Integrated Solutions’ Booth. For those that are unfamiliar with this company, they augment the current Project54 system for primarily police agencies outside New Hampshire. They develop Project54 applications and related hardware to be used within the latest in-car law enforcement related technologies. Heading this development is Brett Vinciguerra with his engineering department located locally at Portsmouth, NH. This year, they showcased one of their newer products, the Light Commander which allows users to activate the lights via touch or speech commands with Project54 minimized. This adds a nice feature for agencies who still want to use the benefits of a speech user interface in conjunction with any CAD program. Project54 would like to thank Brett and 54ward and we wish them continued success with their future endeavors.
